light slowly fading to black
flickering candle,
casting shadows within me
crimson shadows, fading to black
faint tick-tock in the distance
a clock counting my life
it slows down
slower
time fading to black
a metronome running down,
mirror attached
reflecting my dwindling soul
tick tock
always evenly timed
until now
fading
tick...
black...
tock...
