Pushing a relationship
Over a mountainside,
Only for it to
Roll down, down, down.
Sometimes I like to pretend
I’m happy shoving a
Stupid rock uphill.
Yes, I’m happy.
Pushing this rock until it
Has to roll down again.
Until I stop this
Safe, snug routine.
