I was asked to open my eyes, but instead I asked if what I was going to see was as beautiful as what I could imagine.

Burned by the fire,
Burned by the flame,
Burned by the rage,
That you cannot tame.

Controlled by the anger,
That we all find.
You've forgotten your fear,
And how to be kind.

Darkness can fall,
May the moon rise.
Cause all i wanted,
To again see your eyes.

I just want you to know,
I'll be burned by your hate.
What keeps drawing me to you?
I believe its called fate.

To love is to be vulnerable; Triumph is born out of struggle; We notice shadows most when they stand alone in the midst of overwhelming light.

I love how your poem is able to put it into life. (Haha, that's what I think so. I can use your poem in life.) This is a amazingly, beautiful, full of emotion and depth poem. You're a very talented person. Thanks for sharing this! Also, welcome to Teen Ink!
