More guises than even death
I personify myself with an air of darkness
I witness a crime—
She has pennies in her eyes
She is the prize
Which pays for your soul
Off to Hades you go
You stare into my eyes
Your soul is cut—
Sent to its destination
Down the river Styx
You will stay with Haidou *
I will stay with the woman,
With pennies in her eyes
A story to tell
While she cries
Left on the bank
Are those without a prize—
They stay to watch,
With envy in their eyes
