and it’s completely dark outside
Static clings
just like memories of summer
School is out
and cold weather takes it’s place
Shed the shirts
layer on the sweaters
It’s almost ironic
how quiet it is
Because soon
there will be hustle
and bustle
With families gathering
to celebrate
holidays
together
