Wind and rain, wind and rain,
Wash my thoughts and all the pain.
Wind and rain, running down,
The only movement, the only sound.
Rainy day, rainy day,
Drown all my sorrows away.
Rainy day, stormy night,
Blow a gale that's hard to fight.
Lightening strike, lightening strike,
Do your best to light up the night.
Lightening strike, target found,
When will you finally touch the ground?
Cosy rain, cosy rain,
I'll remain dry by the window pane.
Cosy rain, dead of night,
I'll see you falling until out of sight.
