One Day

The first time I saw you I couldn’t look away
I knew in my heart we’ll be together one day
But that day has come and that day has passed
I would’ve thought that day would last
That day was fun that day was memorable
But I always thought we'd be inseparable
That day ended another begun
And I find myself amazed by my emotion
Because I knew all this time in my heart
That you and me should’ve never been apart.

I thought this poem showed alot of emotion and true feeling. This author shows the tur meaning of being in love.
