Lullibies

December 2, 2008

Beauty fades beneath the trees,
Solem verses never cease,
Tired whispers fill the seas,
As the wind looks for release,
Where is the beauty?
Where is the song?
Where is the magic that we've looked for so long?
Beating in my heart is the solem song, singing lullibies of a love long gone.

The author's comments:
Poetry is not something I can conjure up at any moment, with that current feeling, as many poets know. It has to be a strong emotion, and I have to have a pencil and paper, or a computer very close by or nothing get's written or typed down. I don't think about what i'm writing or typing, I let the words flow, let my emotions guide my hand, and the rest follows.
