Black Hole

I'm on this seemingly endless path
My heart teeming with uncontrollable emotions too vast for my mind to wrap itself around
Anxiety winds its stalks around my ankles as i'm grasped in the clutches of imposing Sorrow
Up and down this winding path goes; i couldn't stop walking if i tried.
All that i know and love clinging to me as the great, invisible Fate pulls me into the Black Hole
I wearily resist the constant tugging, but the days continue to slip by my desperate, clutching fingers
To be frozen in time with the one i love would be a blessing, a welcome respite
But for me to tarry on this fervent, mindless dream of mine would be pointless
So i focus on trying to make sense of where my wandering feet are leading me to, and why
This is no easy task, for i am blinded by love and biases, but i do not complain, for without those two things my existence would have no meaning
So, i suffice myself with stumbling sightless through my world.
