Deception

And
she said,
"please come home,
save me from night"
long and hoping she wept through the year
as her soldier husband never returned.
She hoped and prayed
for it to
be a
lie.
Cries,
she screams
at her fate,
allegedly
bit her tongue, held her kids, suffocating.

So it's short, but it contains SO MUCH!!! It's so beautiful, like you are, my friend!!! So wonderful!!! Your poem is so AMAZING. I'm defintely going to be checking your other great writings. I love how it is so short and simple but still says it all. This is so meaningful! And the end is just ..."I'm speechless!" I had tears in my eyes. keep writing it's amazing
