My Christmas Surprise

The Christmas wind ran up my arm.
It made my hair stand straight;
I ran inside for the cold could do me harm:
Delicious hot coco would be my fate.

Sweet aroma of pine,
Spread throughout the room.
Although a dream would soon be mine,
I’d wake with hope ready to bloom.

I ran with my heart at hand.
Amazed by vibrant presents,
I jumped. I landed
My heart shone with pleasance.

I saw my wish, my furry cat
I ran my fingers through her hair
I soon began to talk and chat
The Christmas spirit had filled the air.
