Distant MAG
I saw Distant clearly,
He was pale and lean.
He had his arms crossed
On his chest, covering his heart.
I saw his frown, never curling
And his dark hair served as his shield.
And I heard heart-pounding beats and
Electrifying ripples from his head,
Living on another world,
Faraway from here.
He had so much in his mind to express,
But no words from his mouth.
And I felt the somber look in his eyes
and his want
To fade away.
