LOST
November 29, 2008
A frown within, but a smile without.
A serene exterior as my insides shout.
An empty mind with a heart full of doubt.
Constantly desiring more, yet going without.
Trying to stay strong, though feeling weak.
Being silenced by fear while trying to speak.
Fighting to belong week after week,
But never finding the solutions or answers I seek.
I'm lost within as I smile without.
A lost expression as my insides shout.
A lost heart and a mind full of doubt.
Constantly getting lost, but eventually finding a way out.

I loved this poem and I think that the others who have commented it are just jealous and have not found their place in life so they are forced to make themselves feel better by putting others down.
I loved the words you used and the flow of your poem.
