A frown within, but a smile without.
A serene exterior as my insides shout.
An empty mind with a heart full of doubt.
Constantly desiring more, yet going without.

Trying to stay strong, though feeling weak.
Being silenced by fear while trying to speak.
Fighting to belong week after week,
But never finding the solutions or answers I seek.

I'm lost within as I smile without.
