Chocolate Heartbreaks

November 29, 2008
By Anonymous

'Chocolate mends the borken heart,'
How easily I cna tear that line apart.
Chocolate oreo's, dipped in chocolate milk,
Hot chocolate runs through me like smooth silk.
Hershey kiss wrapers scattered 'round,
Some never to be found.
Chocolate will not dry my tears,
Or hide away my current fears.
What he has done cannot be changed,
But it can easily leave me deranged.
I'll edit this one part,
'Chocolate doesn't do sh**
for the mending of a broken heart.'

A really great poem. I'm pretty sure anyone who's been there would agree that's about how it works. Keep up the great work. Don't get discouraged to write about what you feel. some really great poems have come from authors feelings.

This poem is both great and true. Personally, its like a message from you to me. Chocolate cannot mend a broken heart...it can only bend your shape apart lol...but really continue writing because this poem is very good.
