She sat there still,
Never had she seen him kill.
She did not know,
How he had made it so.

One tear feel softly down her cheek,
For a hope of joy she did seek.
She waited until dawn,
Until she ran onto the lawn.

She ran with fear,
With the fear of a little dear.
That she would be the one,
That would also go down with the sun.

No longer to be with the things she knew,
She never would know the things she had to do.
She saw the light,
But she knew that it would bite.

She knew she would have to go,
She would not leave by what she did not know.
She would go with grace,
Glad to know she was not in the last race.

She would not let the enemy,
Be the one to make her go.
She would go herself,
With peace to all and no one elses joy.
