I take pleasure
In the sound of the waves crashing on the shore
The spray sprinkles softly upon my face
It soothes me

I watch the waves roll across the lake
As the sun gleams on the surface of the water
The reflection bounces off the roiling liquid
Creating a beautiful scene

As the wind gusts in my ear
I think again and again
If only I could freeze time
