Rainbow

A rainbow depicts Unity.

A place where harmony exists

Peace

Balance

Where one color is not
superior to another

The world could learn greatly from nature
A rainbow depicts Strength.

Everyone has a power that lies within

Stability

Vigor

Dig deep to find it

Make a difference
A rainbow depicts Hope

Proof there is something beyond this life

Trust

Reliance

How can something so beautiful just be?

We are reminded of the divine unknown
Hope gives us the Strength we need to create Unity in the world.

I love the poetic portrayal of a rainbow by Caitlin. Next time I see a rainbow...I'll think of unity and of how the colors do not proclaim superiority over one another but instead together create an amazing wonder in the sky to be witnessed after a storm. And even moreso, proclaims a sense of hope in one's heart of which is so symbolic. Anytime, Im feeling battered by the storms of life and happen to see a rainbow in the sky it does bring a certain peace and renews my hope in God and in life. It provokes deeper thoughts and puts into words what I feel when I observe this piece of nature. Also, it is a great perspective on the writer's take of what a rainbow is to her. Great poem!
