Unexpected Beauty

November 24, 2008
By Victoria Noble, New Caney, TX

Dreary looking day;

Gray skies,

Green fields.

Twisted tree

Leans over

Gets a glimpse

Of its reflection

Autumn leaves

Make butterflies

On the water's

Rippling surface

As rain falls.

For a moment

All is perfect

In imperfection

Then a dreary

Day goes on.

Great poem! Try to work on better phrasing. Other than that great job, keep writing!
