Train of Thought

I often stay awake,
Thinking many thoughts,
There must be some mistake,
My brain is like empty parking lots.
Thoughts run through my head,
Filling up my brain,
And throughout them I lightly tread,
As not to get hit by the train.
So every night I get it,
No matter if I like it or not,
I have to get my ticket,
And board the train of thought.
