Remembering, Regretting
He promised
That's the first thing that enters your mind
 He lied
 That's the second
He told you he loved you
 I guess he didn't
 He wanted you
 Yeah, I guess that's true
 But he doesn't anymore
 Why?
You know, though you won't admit it
There it is ,the reason, lying on your dresser
 You stare at it
So small to mean so much
Wishing it was back on your finger
That you hadn't done what you did
 You gave it away
 You wish you hadn't
 Why did you?
 Because he wanted you
 He made you feel special
Like you two were meant to be together
But now you know the truth
That he wanted what you gave him
 And that's all
