Grey
I’ve seen grey
 Grey is a nothingness
Grey is the miseries of life all compacted into one insignificant speck

 Grey brings me what’s expected
 The prospect of surprise
 The expectancy of the surliness
 Of an approaching wicked
Deeply embedded in an active mind

 Grey
 It tells me what’s expected
The tangibility of a soft, lingering
 Thought
 The thought of impending disaster

Grey reads me the runes etched with the omens of my passing days
 Of a spiraling slump
 A revolving continuation of
 Somber acts

 Grey shows you everything
 Everything you never asked for
Everything you hoped to never see
 The presence of wandering morbidity
Yes, I’ve seen grey and I know his grimaces
