Silence of our scars

Here we stand,
all in silence,
trying to hide our scars..
no matter what you say
you've come her today
to show you've come this far,
Don't be afraid
to show your courage
tell me all your dreams,
to find the hope
we need in life
to keep flowing around these things,
they block our paths
eroding a horrible myth
that we cant do it,
there's nothing to it,
show your fear
let it rip
create a way,
to get a grip
show your concern
on all your troubles
don't let them build, and build
so tell me my friend
how far you've come
to live the way you've lived
