Crushed dreams and a broken heart

Crushed dreams and a broken heart
She's just too sweet and you're so tart
You keep pushing her down into the dirt
So much you never notice how much it hurt
When she gave you all her love
You let it go like a free bird dove
When you went away and fled
She was on her knee's and bled
When she thought of you as the perfect boy
You only used her as a toy
As you laid there in the grass
All you wanted was another pass
As she got all ready and glam
You got up and went to scram
You ended up just being scum
And leaving her to feel all numb
At least you gave her the art of
Crushed dreams and a broken heart
