I used to know her name
But now there's things she tries to hide
She'll never be the same
She's scarred from hurt from long ago
From things she can't take back
From angry words and broken promises,
an unforgiving past
There's wounds that just won't heal
and things that can't be undone
She hides a past that can't be changed
and decisions that hurt someone
She's lost all hope and courage
She may never be the same
Yes, I used to know the girl inside
but I don't remember her name.
