My Love Like Ice

November 16, 2008
By Carley Williams, Winston, GA ice
digging at my heart
clawwing at my skin
shattering my bones
filling me with sin
twisting my words
changing my name
hurtting myself
with only me to blame
wat hurts worse
the fire
or lost love
killing my desire
my pureness like a dove
has died again
wat happens to this soul
this lonely little thing
words cannot express
voices cannot sing
memorries are bliss
till i wake up from my dreams
only to realize
he's taken up his wings
and flown away from me
my dark angel
but still
his soul..though almost lost
calls my name
like ice
digging at my hert
clawwing at my skin
with only me to blame
