I Sit Here

I sit here,
In my room,
Thinking…
Thinking about what was, is, and will be.
I think about the past,
Who I’ve hated,
Who I’ve loved,
Who I’ve hurt.
I think about my present,
This poem I write right now,
My feelings,
My strongest emotions,
And how to put them in ink on this very paper,
Even though I know words are not enough,
That feelings are way more powerful than all the dictionaries in the world.
And I think about my future,
My future with her,
The one girl that I would do anything for,
The girl that walks into the room,
And my legs shake, I can barely stand,
The girl that I dream about night and day,
The girl I wait everyday for,
That I wait months for,
Just to see her walk up to me,
With that smile that could mend a broken heart,
Those eyes that I just get lost in.
I wait for that moment,
When we’re holding each other,
For the first time in what seems forever,
And the gaze of our eyes meet,
And our lips slowly touch,
And I realize what true love is,
And how it can be shared,
Through that one special moment,
A kiss,
Where both our hearts combined.

This is a really sentimental poem....and since your a boy, I believe, it tells me that once you get that girl that makes your knees knock read her this and she'll never let you go. /3
