to Live

I do not live in Virginia; for to live is a necessity, not a compromise.

I wish to live on the nerve wrecking sea, bound to no land, no people, no relations; free to live.

I wish to live on the lively streets of Punjab, where no one is one, all are sister, brother, daughter, son.

I wish to live on the life of my life’s, always on his torso, in his soul, on his lips, in his memory.

I wish to live on the heartbeat of Venice, in between mysterious pathways of enchantment and romantic gondolas of passion.

I wish to live.

Pirates of the Caribbean inspired me to write this poem. :) I usually write a poem once a year. I know my grammar is not perfect, but I hope you like the meaning of the poem.....and my distress to get out of Virginia.
