Lightning broke
My mind in two
It raged and raged
I couldn't see anymore
There was shouting
There was screaming
As rain soaked the windows
There was crying
Rolling thunder
Churned my stomach
It growled and growled
I couldn't feel anymore
There was hurting
There was aching
As rain pooled outside
There was lying
It would be over soon
And the storm would stop
But my broken heart
Would always beat
Over and over
