Honest Plea

November 12, 2008
By Anonymous

Who is the girl
That stands away from the best
And pretends that world
Is just like the rest

What do you see
When you look in her eyes
Is it her quiet, honest plea
Or the fear when she cries

Where is her heart
As you reach out to touch it
Does she push herself apart
From those who have attempted

When you ask her a question
Do you see her lip tremble
As she answers with caution
And her voice unstable

Why do you appear
To catch her when she falls
And why does she hear
Nothing at all

this one is even better than you're last one! (yes i noticed that i read your other one as well) This one really hit home for me, it is so beautiful, simple, yet complex. It is apparent that it means a lot to you, and my symbolize what you are going through right now. great poem, 5 stars!
