Your words- they hurt
belittling, insulting,
making me feel
incompetent
and then they get louder.
Your words are
yelled to make me
feel worse
as if I can't do anything
Your words
always point out
my flaws, my weaknesses,
always pointing out the
bad and never the
good. Never
complementing my
successes.
Your words- they're loud,
ringing in my ears
as you continure to
name off everything
I've done wrong.
Your words cause me to
shiver and cause the
tears to flow but
in the end I eventually
get over it because
Your words- they're you;
you always yell
and confess your
anger but I'm used to it
because it's your feelings,
it's your words,
it's you.

WOW. This is very powerful. You describe the way their words make you feel in such a real way. AWESOME! This should be in the magazine if you ask me

This is probably the best poem ever!!! Whoever wrote this is clearly the most brilliant poet of all time. It just really captures the feelings of hurt and pain so perfectly, its unreal. I printed out this poem, built a shrine around it, and worship it every morning. AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! This poem=love.
