Hope

November 11, 2008
By Anonymous

I'd like nothing better,
Than to see a world of change.
The violence and faces rearranged.
The radical hope and the tragic flaws,
Ignorance the barrier at which we gnaw.
To all the flags left flown so high,
And for every life that has had to die.
Epiphanic visions will replace each lie.
For every child left to weep,
And for the emptiness that ensues.
Every day to turn auld and grey,
Alleviate the sorrow, for heavy hearts shall stay.
As for the demons who thrive on past sins,
They will walk amongst us on needles and pins.
