Pink
tulips growing on a warm sunny day
the flavored bubble gum you chew
erasers erasing furiously
Red
like the roses waiting to be sold
the fresh strawberries you eat
and that red sweatshirt you wear when cold
Yellow
dandelions stretched all over your yard
the icy lemonade you drink on a hot summer day
and that pencil you keep for school days
Pink, Red, Yellow
is the color of the sky
over the horizon
just as the sun sets
