The Blessing

The Blessing
A blessing has occurred,
A baby’s voice is now heard,
He smiles up at his parents face,
For he will be named Chase,
He crawls and wiggles and screams,
The suddenly goes to sleep and dreams,
The baby trips when learning how to walk,
But now he knows how to talk,
Da-Da- and Ma-Ma is all that he can say,
But he will get better everyday,
To daycare he will shortly go,
SHHH! He doesn’t know,
Chase come home bigger every day,
He made a friend his name is Jay,
Hopefully he won’t grow to fast,
Or I will really miss the past.
