Home on a Hill

November 8, 2008
By Krysta Mulholland, Bartlett, IL

There's a home on a hill
where the daffodil bloom
the cattle mill with splendor of room

There's a home on a hill
where blue birds sing
the breeze is slow to catch finch on the wing

There's a home on a hill
where the grass is green
angels play and church bells ring

There's a home on a hill
where a grave stands clear
and when time is gone bury me there
