Little Wonders...

Small girl by the window,

Singing her baby doll to sleep.

Lights off nighttime.

Lights on daytime.

Talks to her friend

That’s not there.

About her day

Oh no!

Wah. Wah!

The baby’s crying.

My sister sings her baby doll to sleep.

The song is like a dove

Touching me at the heart.

I wonder what she’s thinking.

Imagination.

I wrote this poem about when my sister. When little kids or toddlers are alone, you never know what there thinking or what they are imagining. I love little kids, especially Madelynn (my two-year-old sister!
