How the blankness of uselessness reeks
of the stench of society's freaks
not the ones you might picture
from the universal high school scripture
they are you
they are me
until we all see
that the world we made is now a zoo
and there is very little we can do
maybe just maybe then
you and i can begin
to mend
and not pretend
the utopia is not real
the utopia is not possible
is it?
