I'am From...

I'am from black and white keys,
from strumming and bowing.
I'am from flowers to ashes
from flames to rain showers.
I'am from those puzzle pieces of similar shapes
yet never seem to be a perfect fit.
I'am from the adventures I take with
those who I've never met, and
from a rebellious sea creature with
dreams of walking on land.
I'am from the make-up that fills up an empty space
to a road less traveled by.
I'am from the endless waves that sail and crash
to those who finally learn the meaning of life.
