Hold my fall

November 5, 2008
By Anonymous

A blooming rose to fill my heart
Make a garden of me
Let me tear my fear apart
Fall to the sky and sea
Each blossom
Each breeze
Each wave
Is a sudden rainbow to me
Always there but never seen
Always whispering but never heard
Always willing but never endured
Until the sun rises on my dreams
And the flower dies
And the sky is burned
And the sea is dried
And my fears close in
And it seems they’ll never be back
Ever, ever again

The soul scraping depth of emotion combined with your clarity of expression leave me awestruck. How did this amazing creature land in my life?

I like the entire tone of the poem, excellent use of free verse format. As I read your poem I felt the metaphoric connection between the power of the spirit and the wonder of the universe. You are an excellent writer; continue to use your literary gift to comfort the souls of your readers. Thank you !
