Scared

I’m.
Scared.
Yes scared.
The word so little,
So few syllables,
Yet too many memories.
Cutting deeper day by day.
Happiness slowly rewinding back,
Into sadness unfortunately missed.
A new beginning, that I know will soon end.
An old flame coming back to life, then soon gone.
This relationship moving too fast.
Not used to someone caring so much.
Unfamiliar to love.
Hidden from the joy in this
Seeking the passion.
Enjoying the ride.
Knowing,
It’ll be over.
So yes.
I’m scared.
