Sumer Skies

The clouds they whisper good day, hello
The sun shines a bright, brilliant yellow
The grass, it sways beneath our feet
The ocean and land on the shore they meet
The birds they fly way up high
Outstretching their wings to touch the sky
Carry my message and take it fast
Let’s make this summer last
Summer rains come drench the thirsty ground
Tap-tap-tap rain is that musical sound
A summer breeze is for lazy days
A summer day is for lazy ways
Only when we must say goodbye
Do we see the color of the summer sky

I am pretty much a tree hugger. This poem pretty much says that.
