Cupcake

Delicate clementine frosting oozing from the moist yellow cupcake
Sprinkles of fuchsia and plum scattered across the tops of the sugary goodness
Little white pearls sink into the sweet charming icing
Crumbles of the marigold cupcake drop form the supple scarlet lips
So much delight coming from the small dessert
Bursting with hopes and dreams

I like the use of strong diction, like "oozing" and alliteration like "supple scarlet". I usually don't like poems about food, but this is a splendid poem :)
