blood runs black

Blood runs black
Steps that call out for me
In my dreams not letting me be
Haunting my every want and need
Evil laughter doing the deed
Of tearing me down
Swooping the town
Sending the chills of misery
The intense air of mystery
Of love and death
And silent breath
The scythe on my back
Blood runs black
Pain leaks out
This is about
The unfortunate resurrection of my word
Upon the hateful denial of the absurd
And the one time I have cried
As I prayed and then died

The author's comments:
This piece of poetry was inspired by my family. I know it seems depressing but it is actually one of my more happier pieces. I get inspired by strong situations in my life. Itreat my poems more like diary entries. They tell my life storie in codes. I express my feelings in my poetry as actions.
