Completion

I walk down
The street
Praying and
Hoping my soul
You'll keep
As temptation
Arises from the deep
It feels as if
It were stomping
My feet
The world begging
Me to leap
But I'm standing
Here and won't
Be moved for
I am your
Hands and feet
The world is
My prison
But you have
Led me here
For a reason
I'm done with
All this treason
I stand here now
In completion
My work in the
Flesh is completed

The author's comments:
I wrote this because sometimes when I am walking down the streets of life, sometimes I can feel Satan tempting me to do things I know in my heart is wrong. In the end of the poem where is says 'My work in the flesh is completed' it doesn't mean I died. What I am trying to say is I'm done satisfying the "flesh." Because I am not of this world
