Blue paint across a page
School's no longer such a cage
Not a single sound
Only quiet all around
Music in my head
Now I spill swirls of red
Colors bleed
Light green's a budding seed
Raindrops of gray
Create pools of water on a cloudy day
Hues of pink
Create a world, balancing on the brink
Suddenly, the class bell screams
I rip off the paper at the seams
I surge into the hall, all shades turn duller
Back to reality, and chaos of no color.
