The Young and Weary Soldier

Off to battle is where she goes
The young and beautiful soldier
Marches off to war
And as she fights, she doesn't know
The young and beautiful soldier
Becomes weary as she tries to go home
Until finally it's time to go
The young and weary soldier
Finds the path way home
And at the end she sees the light
The young and weary soldier
Has almost made it home
And in this light, she enters but only to see dark
The young and weary soldier
Rests there, in her home

The soldier had fight for freedom and were thankful that he faught. Thanks! Good poem.
