They tell us separation is wrong,
It's something we shouldn't do,
Yet they separate,
Many churches and school,

Churches that are all black,
All female there's this and that,
I'm not making an attack,
I'm just pointing out the facts,

Like it you may,
It's wrong you may say,
It doesn't change our way,
At least not on this day,

We can make things all black,
But not allowed all white,
What is the difference,
Neither one is right,

We say we've changed our ways,
Different from the old days,
It wasn't just a phase,
Still wrong to this day,

Excuses don't excuse,
Nobody wins, no one lose,
No matter what we choose,
There will be separation.

The author's comments:
Separation takes place every minute of every day. Even as you are reading this, there are churches, schools, and even little kids being separated according to different things. Skin color, gender, age, height, weight, you name it, we, as people, separate it.
