The weathers changing
It that time of year
Where I learn new lessons
Face my fears
The leaves start to fall
I begin to withdraw
Time for meditation
Thinking clear
Moving on
From last year
Pushing forward
Giving new meaning to the stars
Painting a picture
Of adoration on my heart
Keeping myself together
Avoiding falling apart
Choosing paths
Walking through the dewy grass
I pray a silent prayer
For you to bring my near
New perspectives
Millionth chances
You give them freely
To all that receive
So extremely undeservingly
Thank you for this day
A day you used to show me mercy
To show me your glory
I’ll honor you
Let my praise be renewed
Bring me closer to you
