That Girl
A little girl, about six,
you'll never hear her speak,
about the wound nor the pain,
you'll just see tears stain.
That little girl turned ten.
She knows a safe haven,
In her bedroom she lies,
in her sleep, she dreams.
She dreamed to be a nurse,
dreamed to take that course,
to help and save the wounded,
her dreams are spectacularly splendid.
Now, she's grown up!
It is not on the map,
where she is now,
she doesn't even know.
It is her who is wounded,
but no one minded,
maybe because she smiles,
or they don't know she cries.
She looks so happy,
nobody wants to worry.
I know she's tremblin'
and emotionally shakin'.
At first, she doesn't care,
to fail she even dared.
Then she failed,
OMG, she can't bare.
This time, for sure,
she will endure,
all the high waves,
and the hard times.
I know she'll be okay,
an engineer someday.
I know she will be
because she is ME.
