The dark surrounds me
Shrouding me, strangling me,
Somethings hiding in the dark,
I can hear it
Coming closer
I try to scream
My voice is swallowed by the dark
Silenced by fear.
Back against the wall
Scared, alone.
Trapped in the dark,
My mind racing,
Struggling to find a way out.
Someone help me,
Save me from the dark.
From myself.
