“As elusive as a shadow,
Changing shapes with the light,
Ever present,
Yet never stable or reliable.
An allusion .
A manipulator,
Using compassion, doubt, and fear to wield the mind.
As unpredictable as the dancing rays of the sun,
Warm and welcoming,
Yet if you stay near it too long’
The burn will from ,
Unbearable and unyielding,
Only to be healed by time,
No scares to be seen anywhere,
Just those left on the mind,
The pain will be dire,
